Our family's favorite dish of all time!

Hello lovies!!! Since I have changed my blog niche to life and style I have been really getting more and more excited to share my life with you guys and everything in between. So today's post is about our family's favorite dish. Our 6 years old son Nathan and I are both picky eaters. It's always a struggle to get him to eat and finish his plate almost every meal. He has a wicked sweet tooth though. Anyways, this is a recipe that I actually loved growing up in the Philippines. My grandmother would always make this for us. I taught my husband how to make it since he loved it the first time he had it so he mastered how to make this dish. It's called beef "nilaga". We don't really know what you call it in English so we called it Beef Stew.

So here's how to make it.

Ingredients:
2 lbs of beef Chuck
1 large potato diced
2 large carrots diced
1 large onion diced
1 beef bullion
1 tsp pepper corn
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp corn starch
1 tbsp olive oil

Cooking instructions
1. Lightly coat the beef Chuck with cornstarch and salt.
2. ‎Heat the olive oil in a frying pan.
3. ‎Add the beef Chuck until it's lightly brown.
4. ‎Put the browned beef Chuck in a slow cooker or crock pot.
5. ‎Add water, beef builion and pepper corn.
6. ‎Cook in high for about an hour.
7. ‎After an hour, add all the dices vegetables and let it cook for 6 hrs on low heat.
8. ‎Serve hot and enjoy!

When I was at Walmart shopping for groceries I also picked up some new Scotch-Brite Scrub Dots® Sponges and Dishwands. These products feature Scrubbing Dots technology, which allow the sponges to scrub away kitchen messes fast.

I purchased the following:

Scotch-Brite® Heavy Duty Scrub Dots Sponge (Green). They eliminate baked on messes and are great for pots, pans and heavy duty cookware.
Scotch-Brite® Non-Scratch Scrub Dots Sponge (Blue). They safely clean all cookware without scratching. They are meant for use on non-stick cookware, counter tops and cook tops.
Scotch-Brite® Non-Scratch Scrub Dots Dishwand.

After using the frying pan, make sure you wash it with your favorite scotch Brite heavy duty or non scratch scrub! I always loved scotch Brite sponge because they are tough on dirt but gentle on the dishes.

There you go lovies! Please let me know what is your family's all time favorite dish in the comment below. I need some new dishes to serve to my family. Thank you everyone! See you all on my next post! Tudalou!!!
